Switched at Birth wraps its winter run with (something we hope will be) a carefully-supervised birth.
Unless this is the set-up for
Switched at Birth: The Next Generation.

I hate being reminded how badly I function with a little less technology. If Revolution comes true, someone reserve me a space next to Spencer Hastings at the Rosewood Sanatorium.

News

The Sofia Vergara-produced ABC pilot Killer Women has just become a Battlestar Galatica reunion, adding Michael Trucco to a cast that already includes Tricia Helfer, according to TVLine. Trucco will play the older brother of Helfer's character , the only woman to be a part of the Texas Rangers.

In a sharp business move, the building that serves as The Vampire Diaries' Mystic Grill, is being turned into a restaurant so that fans who travel to Convington, Georgia to see where their favorite show is filmed can have a Vampire Diaries-themed meal.

Deadline reports that Syfy has ordered a new series from Battlestar Galatica producer Ronald Moore, Helix, which follows a group of scientists working in an Arctic base to stop the outbreak of a disease. The AV Club notes that Moore wrote a draft scrip of The Thing that was not used and wonders if elements from that script might show up on Helix.

Whitney star Chris D'Elia is the latest actor to find himself a back-up job in case his current show gets cancelled. He's joined an NBC comedy pilot from Scrubs producer Bill Lawrence. D'Elia will play a man who turns his "undatable" roommate around.

You know I have a weakness for fan-created opening credits (and opening credits overall) so I loved watching the Breaking Bad opening if it were a sappy 1995 family drama.

BET has ordered a second season of improvised comedy The Real Husbands of Hollywood. After (series star) Kevin Hart's performance as Saturday Night Live host, I checked out an episode and was entertained enough to want to watch more.

In ratings news, Grimm held steady, despite a 15-week hiatus. Meanwhile, Justin Timberlake gave Saturday Night Live its best ratings in 14 months.

Jesse Tyler Ferguson and co-host Daisy Fuentes on the same episode? I guess that's why Gary Busey's showing up to talk The Apprentice to bring down the average greatness of the show.

The Doctors (CBS) Check local listings
Every time I've tried watching this obnoxiously chatty medical talk show, I ended up turning the channel within 30 seconds, but today's show has Valerie Harper discussing her cancer diagnosis. I'd like to think that's a topic that won't devolve into snickering and dumb innuendos.

Switched at Birth (ABC Family) 8:00 PM ET
It's time for the winter finale, which means its time for major storylines to climax, which means that the fate of Carlton School will be announced. Lana gives birth and I'm guessing Regina's drinking makes her do something terrible to ruin everything. I'm guessing it involves drunk dialing someone who happens to be on both the school and hospital board.

The Carrie Diaries (CW) 8:00 PM ET
Nicely done, Carrie Diaries ditching the status quo to get rid of Carrie's double life? THANK YOU. And to give me more reason to feel thankful as daddy Bradshaw asks Larissa for dating advice.

90210 (CW) 9:00 PM ET
Once again, Teddy's storyline isn't mentioned in this week's episode description so go back and read my last grumble tying 90210's intense interest in unlikable characters who aren't Teddy to the terrible ratings. Meanwhile, Silver's having a ladies' night for Naomi. I hope that means they're going to disctract me with a stripper.

Being Human (Syfy) 9:00 PM ET
Aidan might be dying, Sally's gnawing on raw meat and Josh is re-infected. Clearly, Being Human needs someone to declare that everyone will be alright if they just chill so tonight introduces an older hippie wolf.

The Following (Fox) 9:00 PM ET
Since there's been no luck finding Carroll, the FBI sends in someone new to take charge of the case, as the audience counts down the minutes until he turnsout to be one of Carroll's followers.

L.A. Shrinks (bravo) 9:00 PM ET
Oh, Bravo, another show about people so privileged they have to create their own problems? Still, tonight sees Dr. Greg try to have a nice lunch with his father, so maybe that will mean one less inappropriate-feeling peek at someone's therapy session.

RuPaul's Drag Race (Logo) 9:00 PM ET
It's their most dangerous challenge yet, the dolls have to roast RuPaul. You better have some of the most effective and witty insults ready if you're going to try to roast Ru. With luck, guest-judge Leslie Jordan will keep the tone just right.

After Lately (E!) 10:30 PM ET
After a dating drought makes Chelsea grumpier-than-usual (how can they tell?) the staff tries to set Chelsea up in their own ways.

The Tonight Show with Jay Leno (NBC) 11:35 PM ET
The best part about Rachel Maddow's book coming out in paperback? Plenty of talk show appearances, including tonight's Tonight Show..

The Late Show with David Letterman (CBS) 11:35 PM ET
It feels like ages since Depeche Mode last had a single out but tonight they're performing on Dave's show.

Late Night with Jimmy Fallon
Are you ready for Justin Timber-week? The newest addition to Saturday Night Live's 5-Timer Club is joining Jimmy all week.

What will you be watching tonight? Please share in the comments!
