Deadline reports that a majorMary Tyler Moore Show reunion is coming to Hot in Cleveland with Mary Tyler Moore, Cloris Leachman and Valerie Harper appearing in an episode that sees Elka (Betty White) and Mamie Sue (Georgia Engel) reunite their old bowling team. The episode is scheduled to film on April 5.

Comedy legend Bob Newhart has booked his first appearance in a sitcom since 2005, appearing in a May sweeps episode of The Big Bang Theory, reports TVLine. He'll play a Mr. Wizard-type of TV personality who was a big influence on Sheldon and Leonard when they were children.
David Anders is joining the cast of Necessary Roughness next week, reports The Hollywood Reporter. He'll play the second in command to John Stamos' new character, who owns the world's top sports talent agency and from the sound ot things this may be a return to the kind of eeeevil character Anders plays so well.
After insisting that it wouldn't offer its HBO GO service as a separate subscription to people who don't have a cable subscription, the premium channel might be on the verge of changing its mind, though you would have to subscribe through your internet provider, making HBO GO a premium service you buy on top of your internet service.
Mamie Gummer has joined the CBS pilotBackstrom (which also stars Rainn Wilson and Kristoffer Polaha, with Thomas Dekker in a guest role). Gummer will play a lesbian police officer who has been nicknamed "The Angel of Death" by the media for the time she killed three people who shot at her.

For some reason, MTV has decided to revisit the early days of The Real World and remind us of how it was once a show about young people with dreams, that went beyond becoming a reality star and spending a few years traveling to wherever the new season of The Challenge is filming. However, let's not spend too much time questioning this great gift and just enjoy the chance to watch the original New York gang again with moments of ogling Eric.

(Of course you do, this was during the era when Nancy was infuriating but we still had Guillermo and Celia.) Syfy's latest movies starts with that premise and then asks what would happen if digging such a tunnel could let loose a terrible monster. This one stars Erik Estrada, which would have been much more exciting if aired a week earlier.
Monsters Vs. Aliens (Nick) 9:30 PM ET
The Monsters Vs. Aliens movie turned out to be far more entertaining than I expected (and I wouldn't have never found out if not for Stephen Colbert's role). Now its a TV series getting a preview in after one of Nick's biggest events. I'm keeping my figners crossed they maintained the charm of the original.
Sunday's Listings
The Real World Marathon (MTV) starting at 8:00 AM ET
Sunday morning brings another chance to catch the season that was an absolute landmark in gay visibility and changed the way a generation thought about homosexuality and HIV thanks to Pedro Zamora. Unfortunately, this marathon doesn't include the memorial special that reunited the cast for the worst possible reason. Its a powerful time capsule that hasn't been seen very often but finally gets another airing and a reminder of when The Real World felt lofty, not trashy.
