The Walking Dead (L) & The Bible (R)
Last night saw the underwhelming season finale of The Walking Dead (don't spoil it for me!) go up against the finale of the ratings godsend The Bible (don't spoil it for me!), and TV geeks like myself were waiting to see which show took the ratings crown of thorns.
Now that the dust has settled, a winner has emerged ... well, barely. According to initial estimates:
The Bible also squeaked past The Walking Dead in head-to-head competition at 9pm, 12.33 mil vs. 12.29 mil.
Jesus Christ!
HBO's Game of Thrones also debuted its new underwhelming season premiere last night, and opened to the best ratings of the series. Of course, its ratings couldn't compare to a basic cable show, but DVR's were surely working overtime in the Sunday at 9 PM ET timeslot.
So which one did you watch? Was it the Woodbury confrontation on The Walking Dead? Jesus & Company on The Bible (and he's an instant member of the Sexy Jesus club), or was it GoT? Or did you stay on the networks with Revenge or The Good Wife?
