Here's the first official trailer for the Carrie remake, which hits all the expected marks: Plug It Up (this time with cell phone pictures), The Prayer Closet, "They're All Going To Laugh At You," The Grand Guignol Prom, but unlike Brain DePalma's version (which didn't have the budget), Kimberley Pierce will take Carrie outside of school to deliver death and destruction to the entire town.
The effects look good, and it has a game cast (but none of the movie versions have come close to the Carrie represented in the book), but time will tell if it's worthy of comparison to the 1976 classic, or if it's just Carrie-okie.
