Deadline thinks that The Carrie Diaries has a decent shot at renewal thanks to online viewership, hoping that Carrie will mirror Heart of Dixie's performance, which was able to turn streaming viewers into improved ratings in the second season. Carrie may be starting to get on my nerves the way her adult self did, but it would be a shame to lose Walt so soon. Meanwhile, the ratings challenged Nikita is likely get a final season to wrap its storylines.

Don't expect a third season of The Glee Project this summer. TVLine reported yesterday that the competition won't be returning to Oxygen due to a mix of low ratings and that Glee's next season still isn't official. However, an Oxygen spokesperson told TheWrap that the Glee companion series is merely "on hold."

BBC America's next original production is a seven-part adaptation of Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell, a novel set in an England where magic used to exist. However, in the era of the Napoleonic Wars, the magic is about to come back.

Judge Judy will continue to air until 2017 thanks to a new deal to keep the show on the air.

For a little while it wasn't certain, but Questloveconfirmed that The Roots will follow Jimmy Fallon to The Tonight Show. At least there are bad choices NBC won't make.

In case you were wondering after watching the Mad Men season premiere, Phyllis Diller did host The Tonight Show on December 22, 1967. Sadly, it's unlikely that there is archive footage of Diller's performance as a host. Also, it's unlikely that jokes about the Vietnam War were made on that show, though incidents like the one Peggy had to handle did happen.

ComicBookMovie has the official synopsis for Syfy's Blake's 7 reboot. Are there any longtime fans with a reaction?

Sunday was Scandal day at Dodger Stadium with Kerry Washington announcing the line-up, Bellamy Young and Katie Lowes singing (the national anthem and God Bless America, respectively) while Guillermo Diaz threw the first pitch.

Jane Velez-Mitchell returns for another true crime Tuesday. Oh, goody, I just can't get enough of the media making idiots of themselves over that murder trial in Arizona. Nick Cannon also stops by to talk about his family life.

Pioneers of Television (PBS) Check local listings
I'm not sure if this is a repeat of the season premiere ("Funny Ladies") in tribute to Valerie Harper, but tonight's episode is called "Carol Burnett & the Funny Ladies" with a look at The Mary Tyler Moore Show, I Love Lucy and The Carol Burnett Show.

Ladies' Man: A Made Movie (MTV) 9:00 PM ET
Two women aim to give an average joe a chance to reinvent himself as a ladies' man. Apparently, it goes well enough for him to think he can compete in the Mr. Olympus pageant where Cole Escola and Jeffrey Self play the pageant's emcees.

New Girl (Fox) 9:00 PM ET
While I complain about Winston not being as well-defined as the rest of the roommates, this season' s big weakness has been Cece who has mostly been adrift after her breakup with Schmidt. Can her bachelorette party tonight help? As long as Jess booked a stripper for this bachelorette party (or if she can get one of her roommates to oil up), I'll probably enjoy the episode.

WHAT!? I'm a Stripper (Logo) 9:00 PM ET
Wait, why am I hoping for a stripper to show up on New Girl when Logo has a whole documentary about strippers?

The Mindy Project (Fox) 9:30 PM ET
While Mindy first season has been a mixed bag, one of its consistent bright spots was Mindy's relationship with Josh (Tommy Dewey turning the adorable up to eleven) which made Mindy and Josh's breakup a disappointing development. Tonight, that's remedied a little as a medical conference puts Mindy back in Josh's orbit.

Chopped (Food Network) 10:00 PM ET
Sure, the cheftestants have faced some tough ingredients, but can they survive readers' suggestions for mystery ingredients? Have the producers dared to put a fresh durian in the mystery baskets yet?

Cougar Town (TBS) 10:00 PM ET
The cul-de-sac gang closes their first cable season with a trip to Hollywood and by finally playing up all that Laurie/Travis chemistry as the two finally go on their first date. I'm still not sure how I feel about that.

What will you be watching tonight? Please share in the comments!
