CNN is giving a weekly primetime show to CBC host George Stroumboulopoulos, according to Deadline. The show would feature interviews and musical guests filmed before a live audience. I know he's an incredibly popular host in Canada, I'm eager to see his interviews come stateside (and let's hope this goes better than it did with Graham Norton).
I'm never particularly excited about The Good Wife's political cameos due to the politicians they pick and booking Michael Bloomberg for an upcoming ep doesn't change that. We'll talk again if they ever get Elizabeth Warren.
Vulture has collected 25 moments on The Carrie Diaries and the Sex and the City moments they recalled. It almost made me want to dig up my old SatC DVDs.
TV Guide reports that Elementary has cast its Irene Adler with Natalie Dormer from Game of Thrones and The Tudors. Dormer is set to appear in three episodes.
John Barrowman was on the set of Scandal yesterday filming a guest-appearance. There's no word on his character, but with the way Barrowman has ridiculous amounts of sexual chemistry with just about every scene partner he has, I'm hoping his story somehow allows him to interact with Huck, Cy, James... oh,okay, every guy on the show. Even Hollis.
Chris Rock is joining the cast of The Real Husbands of Hollywood on a recurring basis. I'm excited about this, providing he doesn't portray his wife as the demanding nag that usually shows up when Rock plays a fictionalized version of himself. That joke does not get any less stale the more Rock tells it.
MTV has cancelled Buckwild in light of Shain Gndee's death. However, Buckwild producer J.P. Williamstold The Hollywood Reporter that he plans to continue filming the series and possibly produce a film. Even if that requires funding it himself.
This came up last summer when the series finale was fourteen months away. Now that the end is closer, AMC is thinking of spinning-offBreaking Bad with a dramedy focusing on breakout character Saul Goodman. If they can find the balance of comedy and tragedy that made Breaking Bad's first season so addictive, this could be the first show about lawyers my guy would willingly watch.

The New York Times reports that NBC is thinking of making Alec Baldwin one of its late night hosts. Baldwin is eyed as a potential new host for Later (currently hosted by Carson Daly) which focuses on more in-depth interviews that would allow Baldwin to film several episodes at once while he's in between film projects.

Tonight's episode may be a rerun, but I missed it when it originally aired. It looks at the battle between bears and wolves for territory in Yellowstone National Park. Sounds like a metaphor for certain busy streets in the gayborhood.

It's a double feature of guest stars tonight as Jack McBrayer shows up to make Frankie's first job after graduating dental school awkward while Jim Beaver (Supernatural's Bobby) is the scout master for Brick's Prairie Scouts troop. They better give him a chance to mutter "idjuts" at some point.

It's time for Ryan to choose which college he will attend but since Tessa doesn't want to be the kind of girlfriend who tells him what to do, she just rigs Ryan's decision-making process. I think Tessa's got a life lesson coming.

Let's be frank, the Pritchett clan may always pull together in the end, but they're terrible at working together. Somehow Cam and Claire have managed to finish their remodeling job, but that house isn't flipped until Phil sells it. Since he's having trouble, he turns to the whole family for help. Surely, this will go better than all those parties that would leave Mary Richards shaking her head in disapproval.

Okay, I'm behind a week thank so last week's DVR snafu, but I see the promo for tonight's episode has Matthew Rhys in a towel, wielding a gun. Do you need more? (And if you do The Americans probably offers that, too.)

There's chaos on the streets of Los Angels because Cooper and Lucero are kidnapped, leaving the LAPD searching the city for them. Not to mention all those Officer Cuddlybear fans. I have a feeling they'll be tearing the city apart, too.
