Here's what I understand about Hitchcock, the new movie that tells the backstory of Psycho's creation: I love Alfred Hitchcock, I crotch-love Anthony Perkins, I love Helen Mirren (even though she looks nothing like her character, Hitch's wife Alma Reville), and Anthony Hopkins seems fun in the titular role. Here's what the new Hitchcock featurette teaches me: Helen Mirren may well be on her way to Oscar #2. And you know that's an honor that doesn't just happen to anybody. Am I right,Vivien Leigh?
