First, Merlin is cancelled, now EW reports that the third season of Sherlock will be delayed. New episodes aren't expected to air until late 2013 in the U.K. and 2014 on PBS. This isn't a good week for slashwink fans.
The internet has been abuzz about a vlog featuring Two and a Half Men's Angus T. Jonescalling his TV series "filth" and asking viewers to stop watching it. When I first saw the headlines, I was ready to cheer Jones, but it turns out he's offended by the show from a religious conservative perspective (he seems to be one of those people who thinks any entertainment that offends them comes directly from Hell's Ministry of Propaganda), and he made his plea on a vlog with a homophobic past.
Southfork Ranch will open its doors to mourning fans of Larry Hagman on Sunday aftenoon.
EW has the scoop on the big list guest-stars for the third season of Portlandia, which will include Roseanne Barr, Martina Navratilova and Matt Lucas. I'm still hoping for more appearances by Mayor Sam Adams (even if he's not sticking around for much longer).
It's finally official, TVLine breaks the news that Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel have signed up for the Boy Meets World sequel, Girl Meets World. Meanwhile, Fishel posted to her Tumblr page to thank fans for their support and comment that it's still undecided if any of Boy Meets World's other stars will appear on the sequel.
Cee Lo Green will play himself in an episode of Anger Management. At the very least I hope they rent a pet for Green to carry. It's bound to be more amusing than the script for the episode.
Tyra Banks just announced what she's getting the world for Christmas, a sequel to her made-for-TV-movie, Life Size (oh, if only the movie's marketers could have looked into the future they would have realized it should be called "Life-Size Smize"). The original followed a girl (Lindsey Lohan) who botches her first dabbling in necromancy and accidentally brings her doll (Banks) to life, instead of bringing her mom back from the dead. It still occasionally airs on The Disney Channel and still does well enough to warrant a sequel 12 years later.
For all of the press it got, Liz & Dick drew 3.5 million viewers, a respectable number but not one that lives up to expectations.

One of the more overused plots for female characters in sitcoms has been "ticking biological clock" anxiety. New Girl has been good at avoiding tired cliches, so maybe they'll put a fresh spin on it in an episode where Jess feels a bit of baby panic when she learns that a friend is pregnant.

You knew we'd have to get to this point eventually. Jeff's paranoia and possessiveness has taken his relationship with Jenni to the point that the two are thinking of going their separate ways. Jeff chasing away his friends has been a theme of the series and if Jenni leaves, that brings the show full circle in a way that makes for a great point to say goodbye to the series.

Ryan (Matthew Perry) decides he's ready to start dating again. We've already seen him make a romantic move on his college pal, maybe he's ready to deal with writing an online profile, speed dating and dodging friends' set-up attempts.
