- Birthday shoutouts go to Kenny Branagh, who is 52, Raven Symone' is 27, and Gloria Loring is 66. Gloria is best known for playing Liz on Days Of Our Lives, the theme song to The Facts Of Life, birthing Robin Thicke, and "Friends & Lovers", which reached #2 on the pop chart in 1986.
- Stay classy, FOX. Seriously, is this the best they can do?

- Continuing the 50 Greatest 80's TV Theme Songs/Openings!, Here's #42, Charles In Charge.
- This probably would've ranked higher on this list, but Scott Baio's emergence as a wingnut asshat has soured me a bit (but you'll be seeing Scott one more time much later on this countdown). Charles In Charge aired on CBS from October 3, 1984 to April 3, 1985, but was canceled due to dismal ratings. Luckily, it was picked up for first-run syndication, and aired again from January 3, 1987 to November 10, 1990 (but with only Scott and Bibleman himself Willie Aames returning from the original cast.) The theme song for the CBS and Syndicated versions were both performed by the faboo Shandi Sinnamon (who is best known for the song "He's A Dream" from the Flashdance soundtrack), but I prefer the original, softer version to the mechanical syndicated version.
