If anyone could make us care about Fifty Shades of Grey, it's George Takei. Thankfully, the gay gadabout is here with a sinister, sexy reading of the blockbuster book, and he doesn't mind showing us how it scandalized him so.
Dammit, I love this man. And actually, I love him for referencing sections that point out how laughably simple this book is. "His long-fingered hand"? Is that a real description in a real book? And what of that abrupt mention of "clitoris"? What a cunning linguist this author is!
The point is, if George Takei can be this spellbinding while reading books, I suggest he take on Scotty Bowers' celebrity pimp memoir Full Service. Wait until he gets to the parts where Katharine Hepburn sleeps with 400 women or Tyrone Power announces he's a scat queen! Wish I were joking.
