Neil Patrick Harris is an Emmy-winning TV star, a dynamite Tonys host, a witty Twitter presence (@ActuallyNPH), and an adorable gay thang. But here's a fun tidbit you might not know about the jaunty NPH: He hates your Christ. (Thunder crash.)
So says Conservative web publication World Net Daily, which printed an article claiming that a CBS Super Bowl ad featuring Harris wearing facepaint in the style of Christian player Tim Tebow is "mocking Christians" and "pushing a gay agenda." Before going pro, Tebow was well-known in college football for wearing eyeblack touting Bible verses such as John 3:16. In the promo (pictured above), NPH's eyeblack reads the date of the Super Bowl. TSB, guys. TSB. (Typical Sodomite Behavior.)
Some key passages from the article:
"CBS, the television network airing the big game this year, is now using an outspoken homosexual actor to mimic Tim Tebow’s style of trumpeting messages in eyeblack on his face..."
CBS didn't even pick a soft-spoken homosexual. They went with a vocally trained one. Offensive.
One football fan who watched the CBS promo Sunday made the connection between Harris and Tebow, saying, “They’re pushing a gay agenda by using him, and they’re mocking Christians at the same time.”
Two birds, one stone. Clever homosexuals! Luckily there's no such thing as a gay Christian, otherwise this argument would seem like a total waste of time.
...Harris 'makes no secret' of his homosexuality, has received awards from the Trevor Project, and is raising sons with David Burtka they had via surrogate."
Classic gay agenda: A network allows a gay person to be on TV, and maybe that gay person is admired and has a human life. Cathedrals are crumbling.
Let's tie this up by acknowledging the one universal truth that WND gets unquestionably right: There is not, and never has been, anything gay about facepaint. Now, onto the grunting man theater Super Bowl!
