Canada has debuted a new high tech $20 bill made of a polymer. But scientists have a small problem with the maple leaf featured on the bill. They claim it's the Norway Maple, which is an 
invasive species to Canada. The Canadian government claims it’s a blend of several different maple leaves, but nobody is buying it.

The James Franco parody of Justin Bieber's"Boyfriend" disappeared from the web almost as fast as it was posted, 
and it seems that's because someone called Franco and asked that it come down. Franco says that it wasn't Bieber himself, but "I don’t think he was too happy.”
Do men really have higher sex drives than women? Yes and no. What about same-sex couples? "They found that gay men had higher frequencies of sex than lesbians at all stages of relationships. Within the first 2 years of a relationship, for example, two thirds of the gay men but only one third of the lesbians were in the maximum category of having sex three or more times per week (the highest frequency category). After 10 years together, 11% of the gay men but only 1% of the lesbians were still in that category of highly frequent sex. At the other extreme, after 10 years nearly half the lesbians, but only a third of the gay men, were having sex less than once a month. Even that difference may be a substantial underestimate of the discrepancy in sexual activity: Blumstein and Schwartz reported that the gay men who had largely ceased having sex after 10 years together were often having sex with other partners, whereas the lesbians who had ceased having sex together had generally not compensated for this deficit by finding other sexual outlets.
Olympic diver Chris Mears, who appears on the cover of the new Gay Times Naked Issue this month says that he has a lot of gay friends, thanks to his buddy Tom Daley. “I’m trying to steal his gay fan base by doing this shoot for GT! I have no issues at all being around gay people and I know a few people through Tom who are gay and I’m good friends with them. I’ve got quite a few gay followers of my own through Twitter – I went from 1,000 before the Olympics to 110,000 after it. And I’ve had a couple of funny suggestions, normally guys asking for foursomes with me, Tom and Jack Laugher.”

I know that Movie 43 probably has no redeeming qualities, and the stars of the film seem to have refused to promote it, but I'm oddly excited. Sure, it's going to be offensive, and yes, judging by this new NSFW red band trailer it has some gay jokes, but most of the cast is very gay friendly, so context matters. Besides, who doesn't want to see a movie that caused Geroge Clooneyto respond toPeter Farrelly with “No f--king way.” when he asked him to appear in it.
R'ha is a student film by 22-year-old Kaleb Lechowski that really is mindblowing, and reportedly has garnered some interest from Hollywood studios. It amazes me that the technology is now so advanced that a student can produce this by himself. I remember when it took a room full of computers to give us the dancing baby on Ally McBeal.
