      • The 100 Greatest Lost Hits Of The 80's countdown may be over, but every Thursday we're going to travel back again and pay tribute to an 80's tune that should have been a bigger hit. This week, it's "Better Be Home Soon" by Crowded House. They hit it big in 1987 with "Don't Dream It's Over," one of the greatest classics of the 80's, and proved they were no one-hit wonders when the followup "Something So Strong" also sailed into the Top Ten, but their second album was a huge chart disappointment, with the first single "Better Be Home Soon" only reaching #42 in August 1988. It's every bit as memorable as their hits, so it's inexplicable why this song failed to perform. (Thanks to AE reader me for the suggestion).

      • Airing in syndication from September 20, 1982 – February 23, 1983 (it aired five days a week) Madame's Place followed the antics of everyone's favorite old broad puppet, as she balanced home life with a career before the cameras. The show offered a behind-the-scenes look at her talk show juxtaposed with her crazy personal life, something that The Larry Sanders Show would shamelessly rip off years later. And it earned it's 80's cred by featuring a pre E! True Hollywood StoryCorey Feldman and ubiquitous 80's personality Judy Landers.
