Oh my God you guys… This show… This… You can keep your Sterek and your Destiel. Heck, you can even keep Klaine. Bravid is my ship, and I make no apologies. They love each other so much, and it just fills me with… What do you shippers call it? Oh yes, “feels.” I am full up with feels.
- David has forbade Bryan from buying any baby clothes until they are out of the woods with the pregnancy. This shows he has way too much faith in his power to forbid Bryan anything.
- Bryan pouts and tries to entice David with some of the cute things he’s bought for the bun in Goldie’s oven.
- Shania appropriates a baby dress for an inappropriate purpose. The girls in her fourth grade class think her halter top is funny. A certain boy thinks it’s awesome.
- This lad, whose name my research suggests was Wilbur, appears to be a clone of Joseph Gorden Levitt fresh out of the secret laboratory in AfterElton member Morgan’s basement.
- Goldie is so happy that Shania is no longer dressing as Little Edie, she wants to find more clothes for her to wear. David and Bryan invite themselves along.
At the store, an adorable Bravid moment is soured by a random homophobe encounter. With a subtlety no one knew Ryan Murphy capable of, he shows how ugly homophobia really is by simply contrasting it with the pure love that his two gay men share.
- Nana comes upon mini-JGL making out with Shania and drags both kids off to Planned Parenthood.
- Bryan has a moment with David where he is heart-wrenchingly distraught knowing he can’t protect their child from all the hate in the world.
- David, at the gym, tries to stand up against hate only to find the handi-capable person he was defending was in fact a homophobe.
- Goldie, Nana and Wilbur’s mom have a meeting with the teacher. The highlight of this is the little scamp talking about his spank bank. One Million Give Or Take A Million Moms collectively had a stroke at that line, I think.
- David realizes he needs to live in the moment and celebrates this epiphany with the purchase of baby gym clothes.
The episode ends with the beginnings of our little messed up family all having dinner. Even Nana, who shares a hilarious moment with Bryan that I refuse to spoil for anyone who hasn’t seen it.
Best Exchange:
Nana: What the hell do you think you’re doing?
Wilbur: Rounding second.
Best Performance: I was going to give it to Andrew Rannells, but I just have to hand the prize to the kid playing Wilbur.
Gayest Moment: When the guy David decked lights up at the news David and Bryan are having a baby and exclaims, “My boyfriend and I are getting married!”
