The True/False Preview: Tonight's "Arrow"

Hi, I'm Stephen Amell. My show just got picked up for the full season so excuse my cheeky grin.

The week started on a high note the new action series Arrow when the CW was gave the series its back-nine order. What does that mean? Besides getting 22 episodes of the series, the really good news is that we'll have Stephen Amell and his green hoodie around for the rest of the current TV season. Not bad after just two airings, right?

Earlier this week, AfterElton was invited to come to the CW offices and sneak a peek at this week’s episode, “Lone Gunmen.” In this episode, things definitely get amped up for Ollie as we get more flashbacks into the time he was on the remote island without hair gel as well as see him in the present day go head-to-head with Deadshot (played by Michael Rowe) and some members of his own family.

This week’s True/False Preview Post, like Amell’s sculpted torso, will both tease and entice…

1.      We get a delicious, adoring pan of Stephen Amell working out shirtless in the first minutes of the episode.

2.      We find out how Ollie got that body during an island flashback when he stumbles upon a fully stocked, yet abandoned, Equinox gym. No smoothie bar, though, which pisses him off.

Yes, I can stitch up my own injuries and make a mean Chicken Parm.

3.      Someone says “I guess from now on I’ll be watching you pee.”

4.     Ollie shows his international flavor by speaking Thai to speed his order up in a Thai restaurant.

5.      We’ll get to see another very impressive torso in the episode and it’s not Amell’s.

6.     Ollie realizes he’s put on the wrong Arrow hoodie when he notices OCEAN PACIFIC imprinted on the chest.

7.      Sister Thea gets some tough love from both Mom and brother Ollie that involves watching Lindsay Lohan's I Know Who Killed Me.

Does Ollie have serious competition in the abs department with Deadshot (Michael Rowe)?

8.      There is a joke about the crowd a club called “Queen’s” might draw.

9.      Someone mistakes Ollie for a hustler, a wink-wink nod to Amell’s role on Hung.

10.  A character other than Ollie steps in and unexpectedly kicks some ass.

11  The final scene of the episode features Ollie signing the lease on ‘Queen’s’ and having an Appletini with John Barrowman.

Arrow airs Wednesdays at 8pm on the CW.
