Listen to Sharon Needles' Haunting "Everyday Is Halloween"

If you told me RuPaul's Drag Race winner Sharon Needles was releasing a new single, I'd assume that it sounded like a cross between a Marilyn Manson jam and Garbage's "Only Happy When It Rains." Dark and bleak, but also witty and cool. Turns out my prediction was right on the money: The ghostly gal released her version of Ministry's "Everyday is Halloween," and it's an epic, spoken-sung (parlando) rendition that you should play for every Trick-or-Treater who approaches your doorstep. Nothing scares a five-year-old goblin like drag versions of '80s industrial metal songs, right?

Overlong, but totally effective. Here's hoping Sharon covers Christmas with a similar slice of the macabre. Did Nine Inch Nails ever release any yuletide hits?
