Editor's Note - Ed Kennedy was our social media hero with the election results last night, and didn't get a chance to finish the Meme. We'll have a wrap-up of the history that was made, but in the meantime, enjoy these tidbits from Ed, and feel free to add your own! (but please keep it PG-13!).
Something that caught my eye was CBS News correspondent Mo Rocca, an out gay man. His tweet said "As a @CBSNews correspondent I can't tell you how I voted. So I'll show you..." He then tweeted this photo. Have we found a new gay Republican, or am I misinterpreting it?

Henry Winkler, Alicia Silverstone, Cheyenne Jackson talk to Theater Mania about their new play The Performers, set in the world of porn. But Cheyenne says that fundamentally it's a love story, and Winkler says that it's just incredibly funny, taking a story like this and dropping it into the world of porn.
If you're like me, you obsessively sort things like Skittles, gummie bears, and M&Ms by color before you eat them. If you miss one and eat the wrong color it throws you off the rest of the evening. Now there's a machine that can actually allow you to pour a bag of Skittles in the top and it will sort them by color, preventing mishaps.
Haley Joel Osment dropped by VH1 to talk about his new, very gay movie Sassy Pants. There's an extended preview of Osment's character playing a very flamboyant affectionate partner to a man who looks like he just wants to crawl under a rock with his daughter there. I do wish they're spent more time talking about the actual movie rather than the silly skit with the intern in Times Square.

I know the election is over, but Ricky Martin's words on why he's supporting President Obama are worth hearing, because they're about our families. Plus, it's always soothing to start the day staring at a man as good looking as Ricky Martin.
The same Disney Princesses that we saw as Hipster Princesses welcome Princess Leia as a Disney Princess with lessons on how a princess should act. There are notes on singing, shoes and more. No word on if they intend to allow that high slit to stay on Leia's dress, or if Leia will let Ariel borrow her metal bikini.
The message from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in this It Gets Better video is wonderful, but I have to admit disappointment in the lack of those iconic red uniforms we tend to associate with the RCMP.
Mark S. King of My Fabulous Disease takes us to Atlanta pride, where you get to see go-go boy pride, drag queen pride, police pride, and just about every kind of pride except Poz Pride. Which brings up the question - with the stigma attached to being HIV+, is it possible to have Poz Pride? Should the Poz community take back the diagnosis and own their status, if not proudly, confidently? The AIDS epidemic largely gave birth to the modern version of the gay rights movement, so doesn't it deserve a place at the table?
Dan Savage is at his best when he's quiet and showing his nearly boundless empathy, so I love him in the American Savage project for TakePart TV, where he talks to GLBT youth who were kicked out of their homes when they came out. Savage really shines when he's talking to the vulnerable, and I wish he'd stick to doing this.
