  • Birthday shoutouts go to Mark Ruffalo (above) who is 45, Scarlet Johansson is 28, Mariel Hemingway is 51 and Jamie Lee Curtis is 54.
  • Like Ed Kennedy, I would like to give my heartfelt thanks to all AE readers, as well as the remarkable colleagues I work with every day. They, and you, make this site a joy for me everyday. Unlike Ed Kennedy, I've never been named "best" of anything, except "Best Food Bringer" by my cats.
  • Just a reminder to please join me on Sunday night at 9 PM ET, when I Liveblog the Lifetime original movie Liz and Dick.
  • Programming Note: Because of the holiday, AE will have a very limited schedule tomorrow, but we will have a Meme and Briefs, as well as a Holiday Puzzler, and recap of Glee.
  • Today's Briefs is going to be all positive. Starting with a teacher coming out to his students."And then a girl clapped her hands. And then a boy. And then the whole class. • Towleroad has a first listen of Cher's "Woman's World."
  • Bryan Safi and Jeffery Self on People's Sexiest Man.

  • The first Thanksgiving, as told by children.

  • Continuing the Official snicks Top 100 Lost Hits of The 80's ... And here we are. The Ten Greatest Lost Hits of The 80's! At Number Three is ... "I Couldn't Say No" by Robert Ellis Orrall & Carlene Carter

  • And here we have my favorite duet of the 80's, with singer/songwriter Robert Ellis Orrall and the faboo Carlene Carter. Maybe it's my favorite because it looked like my elementary school music teacher singing with the hot hippie chick who lived down the street and would occasionally babysit. It peaked at #32 in May of 1983, and is completely undeserving of its forgotten status. Here's the clue for #2 - "Is It The Love Of The Danger, Or The Danger Of The Love?"

  • Congrats to lostie48 , who was the first to guess that yesterday's Pixuzzle™ © ® was Girl Interrupted.

  • Here's today's Pixuzzle™ © ®. Below you can see characters from a famous movie. Can you name it?

And today's Briefs are brought to you by...
