- Valerie aired on NBC from March 1, 1986 to July 20, 1991, and starred the faboo Valerie Harper, making a successful return to sitcoms. Well ... for a while. She played mother to three teen boys (including Jason Bateman), and wife to that guy from Days Of Our Lives. Well, for a while. Sadly, right before the third season, "Valerie" died in a horrific car accident, and "Aunt Sandy" came to take her place. But it's okay .. "Valerie" went to heaven and is sharing a cloud with "Chrissy Snow." Below you can see the opening, with "Together Through The Years" performed by Roberta Flack Rumor has it that Cannibal Corpse often performs the song in concert. I can see it.
