Aw. Oz is always showing up after Willow's found someone to love.

News

One of the people who inspired The Wire's Omar Little, Larry"Donnie"Andrewsdied last week. Andrews went from stealing from drug dealers, to working as a killer for drug kingpins, to being an informant for the police. Much like Omar, he had his own code for who he would refuse to hurt in his crimes. He worked as a consultant on The Wire and eventually appeared on the show as one of Omar's crew. After his release from prison, Andrews worked to help inner-city youth find opportunities out side of gang crime through his Why Murder foundation.

Shameless creator Paul Abbott is bringing another one of his UK shows to the states. He's working with Alex Borstein (who came to fame on Mad TV and also wrote scripts for Shameless) to adapt Linda Green for U.S. audiences.

This sounds like encouraging news. The great Beth Grant is reprising her role on The Mindy Project as bonkers nurse Beverly, according to TVLine. Grant will be a series regular. I hope that doesn't get in the way of Marianne Marie Beattle making an appearance on Hannibal.

Saturday Night Live veteran Abby Elliott has booked an appearance on Happy Endings, EW reports. She'll play a woman who has game tickets Max wants, prompting him to pretend to be straight.

Splitsider pays tribute to The Wilton North Report, Fox's short-lived, late-night fake news show... and Conan O'Brien's first writing jobs.

A BBC study of GLBT visibility in UK TV called for "bolder and more creative" depictions of queer people. But the report praised Downton Abbey and Doctor Who for being inclusive. That said, isn't it about time Downton Abbey let Thomas have a love interest stick around for a full season?

Who caught the Homeland season finale? Did the season work for you, or do you agree with all those critics who were finding new ways of calling plot points preposterous? Does Buzzfeed's list of the season's most plausibility-stretching moments change your mind, one way or another?

Anderson Live (syndicated) Check local listings
Stacy London is joining Anderson today. I'm expecting The First 15 to be more than a little bit upsetting.

The Talk (CBS) Check local listings
Nate Berkus is bringing his adorable mug to today's show. For added hotness, Barrett Foa is also on the guest list.

Days of Our Lives (NBC) Check local listings
Since Friday's episode was preempted for news coverage, we're making another attempt to liveblog the episode today. After all, it's the opening act to Secrets & Lies II: Salem Boogaloo.

Dreamworks' Dragons (Fox) 8:00 PM ET
While How to Train Your Dragon wasn't as gay as Lilo & Stitch, it did come from the team of Chris Sanders and out director Dean DeBois. (And it did did have Vikings with Scottish accents that prompted constant scoffing from my partner.) Now it's getting a holiday special. Winter festivities for the Scottsy Vikings are nearly ruined when all the dragons suddenly fly off. Don't worry, the show description promises that, "Friendship and loyalty abound" so this won't be like all those other holiday specials with a grim, depressing ending.

Gossip Girl (CW) 8:00
For its first few seasons Gossip Girl delivered great nuance along with its satisfying soapiness. Too bad it didn't stop before it became a weekly exercise in frustration — and then continued to limp along for three more seasons. Tonight, The CW says adieu by revealing the identity of Gossip Girl, because viewers are too apathetic to care about the promise of a wedding between Blair and Chuck.

How I Met Your Mother (CBS) 8:00 PM ET
For its winter finale HIMYM is giving viewers a Buffy reunion. Seth Green plays an old college pal of Lily and Marshall.

1600 Penn (NBC) 9:30 PM ET
It'll be a few months until NBC can use The Voice to help its new shows find an audience again, so it's previewing its upcoming sitcom about a wacky First Family led by Bill Pullman. Too bad it includes Jenna Elfman as the First Lady and Josh Gad as a ne'er-do-well manchild son, a pairing that makes me wonder if there's a competition for most annoying sitcom cast.

Hawaii Five-0 (CBS) 10:00 PM ET
Okay, so the last couple episodes have been sitting on my DVR. Nothing's wrong, it's just never the show that gets me to hit the play button. However, this week George Takei shows up as Chin's uncle. George Takei always gets my attention.

Hotel Impossible (Travel) 10:00 PM ET
If you want to see Anthony work to maintain eye contact, this is probably your best shot as he heads to the Maui Sunseeker, a gay, clothing-optional resort.

Catfish: The TV Show (MTV) 10:00 PM ET
Nev tries to make things work with Kya, a former catfish who pretended to be someone else to Alyx. Kya eventually came clean, but she's never met Alex, who could still be catfishing the catfish.

Conan (TBS) 11:00 PM ET
Adam Pally's got a Happy Endings fall finale to promote. Let's hope there's such a thing as the Conan Bump.

The Late Late Show with Craig Ferguson (CBS) 12:35 AM ET
Anne Rice is joining Craig tonight, perhaps with suggestions for how Craig can show more smoldering chemistry with Geoff.

What will you be watching tonight? Please share in the comments!
