In case you didn't get the change-of-address card, The L.A. Complex is moving to Monday nights.

News

The upcoming spin-off of The Office focused on Dwight's family has added Matt JonesBadger from Breaking Bad — to play Dwight's "mysterious cousin".

ABC is giving a second chance to the comedy pilot Kings of Van Nuys, which stars John Leguizamo and Christopher Lloyd. It's an adaptation of a British series, Only Fools and Horses that has a "big fan" in ABC boss Paul Lee.

Former Eureka star Salli Richardson-Whitfield has joined a Lifetime pilot. She's the first person cast on The Secret Lives of Wives, and she'll be playing a sultry radio host (I'm reminded of Delilah) whose 17-year marriage is falling apart.

Showtime is considering a comedy from former Buffy producer Marti Noxon. Guide to Divorce is described as a semi-autobiographical show about four forty-something women. Noxon can be a controversial writer with dedicated detractors. If this goes to series, I can't wait for the discussion.

Am I the only one who didn't realize that Morgan Fairchild is on twitter? She also responds to trivia challenges Lawrence O'Donnell announces on his show. Amazing.

Andy Dehnart asks why this season's Big Brother houseguests are much smarter than the Survivor competitors who have a bad habit of letting returning cast members skate to the end? I'm inclined to say a lot of credit goes to accidentally casting someone smarter than the average Big Brother houseguest, namely Ian.

We've got a couple peeks at what's coming up for The Simpsons. Tom Waits will add his voice to an episode where Homer becomes a "prepper", and tries to get ready for some kind of society-destroying catastrophe. Meanwhile, the upcoming "Treehouse of Horror" will include parodies of found-footage films, Back to the Future and the Higgs boson, which I still don't understand.

Fox is developing a series from Life on Mars creator Matthew Graham about people who "police parallel worlds." I already want to see this.

In its continued effort to find ways to fit shows that aren't news on its weekend schedule, CNN will re-air documentaries from HBO. How long until we start commenting about the days when the 'N' in CNN stood for news (kinda like the 'L' in TLC)?

Are the ratings for TLC's Here Comes Honey Boo Boo a good reason to be concerned about society? Maybe not. The latest episode may have drawn a series high, but its 2.3 million viewers don't compare to Jon and Kate Plus 8 peak of 9.8 million or the 5 million viewers who watched the debut of Sarah Palin's Alaska.

Considering how bad the ratings got last season and its challenging new Friday night time slot, flat ratings for the season premiere of America's Next Top Model is probably good news.

I guess this means America loves big honking Bibles? Or maybe just Jeff Foxworthy hosting game shows?

Finally, this Thursday was a good night for USA. The finales for Burn Notice and Suits were the most watched cable shows for the night. Burn Notice had the most viewers overall, while Suits was the most-watched program among viewers under 50.

Listings

The L.A. Complex (CW) 8:00 PM ET
As the CW moves The L.A. Complex to Monday nights, the series makes what sounds like a too-late attempt to become a part of our slash madnewss tourney as Connor schemes to "keep his makeshift family intact." That means trying to find a way to keep spending time with his fake/not-fake girlfriend's husband, right? I hope that's what it means. Meanwhile, Kal faces a "nuisance lawsuit." I'm hoping one of these stories lead to a storyline where an online gossip insists that a male celebrity is gay. (And I think it could be equally interesting if the gossip were right, like with Kal, or wrong, like with Connor.)

Warehouse 13 (Syfy)9:00 PM ET
Oh. Yes. The Warehouse team faces Alice who steps out of Lewis Carroll's looking-glass to terrorize the town. Since Alice in Wonderland is one of my favorite stories from childhood, the only thing that could make me happier is if Alice based her crimes around "Jabberwocky," causing trouble at brilling and using a weapon that goes snicker-snack. Meanwhile, Lindsay Wagner returns to seal with that evil Artie created.

Major Crimes (TNT) 9:00 PM ET
After a few weeks spent grumbling that Sharon's not doing enough to find his mother (how hard is it for the police to do a people search, anyway?), a new lead gives Rusty a harsh lesson in "Be careful what you wish for..."

Hollywood's Quickest Marriages (TV Guide) 9:00 PM ET
TV Guide's list of shows don't usually grab my attention. However, this particular list show sounds like it would help fill out the evidence on your "Who's really undermining the sanctity of marriage" argument.

Grimm (NBC) 10:00 PM ET
Hank may still be trying to convince himself that he didn't really see what he thinks he saw, but that might get harder when an old friend (Mark Pellegrino, making a welcome guest-appearance in yet another sci-fi show)'s daughter disappears... and, of course, it turns out wessen are involved.

In the Big House (Logo) 10:00 PM ET
Big Lou works out his issues with masculinity by dragging Louis and Jay to the gym to hit various punching bags and, probably, do some Tim Allen-style grunting.

What will you be watching tonight? Please share in the comments!

Trivia Triptych

I guess I made this week's trivia challenge a little too challenging since no one fully figured it out.

dougmc identified the character in the middle as Hunter, the homeless teen Michael and Ben took in on Queer as Folk while peculiar recognized one of the guys Pasty and Edina hired on Absolutely Fabulous. (Honestly, that was the one I worried might be too obscure. I'm impressed!)

However, no one recognized Stephen Amell as Jason, who was recruited into prostitution by Lenore on HBO's Hung, making all three guys who've worked as prostitutes — or as the participants of a certain reality show would prefer, gigolos.
