Naya Rivera and Darren Criss perform during the 2013 Kids' Inaugural.

  • Birthday shoutouts go to Emma Bunton, who is 37, and Billy Ocean is 63. Here's his greatest song (and video), which peaked at #2 in February 1985.

  • Charlotte Rae is shopping around her memoir, The Facts Of My Life, in which she reveals that her husband of 25 years came out as gay and divorced her.
  • In ratings news, Football proved to be a disaster for ABC's lineup, with both Once Upon A Time and Revenge experiencing season low double digit drops.
  • David Sedaris has given the film version of his short story C.O.G. (which stars Jonathon Groff and Casey Wilson) a thumbs up.
  • Below you can see the movie's director Kyle Patrick Alvarez talk about its journey to the screen.

  • Here's one more of Darren at the Kids' Inaugural

  • Here's out Richard Blanco reading his Inaugural Poem. Just beautiful.

  • Here's your Daily Matt Bomer™. This time he's at the Creative Coalition, last night in D.C.

  • Continuing the 50 Greatest 80's TV Theme Songs/Openings!, Here's #12, The Wonder Years.
  • I said about Friday's entry China Beach that it had the perfect melding of song and opening, and that's certainly the case with The Wonder Years, which aired on ABC from January 31, 1988 – May 12, 1993. It's impossible to listen to Joe Cocker's version of "With A Little Help From My Friends" without thinking of this opening, and the versions of the opening without this song just seem ... wrong. Aside from the song, the opening is simplicity itself, with faded home movies introducing the cast, including supporting favorites Danica McKellar and a young Marilyn Manson* Urban Legend!

  • Congrats to PaperMoon , who was the first to guess that Friday's Pixuzzle™ © ® was Beautiful Thing

  • Here's today's Pixuzzle™ © ®. Below you can see characters from a famous movie. Can you name it?
